Title: What are the names of craft supply stores in Canada?
Post by: Illusen on May 30, 2008 10:17:40 PM
I wasn't really sure on where I should post this, but I figured that I couldn't lose putting it in the miscellaneous forum! ;)

My question is pretty simple. I 'm originally from the states, but am now living in Canada. I haven't done too much craft-shopping since I've been living here, so I'm not sure on the big craft-chain stores they have here.

Anyone from Canada or that knows the answer wish to enlighten me? I also live in New Brunswick.

Thanks a bunch. :)

Hi!  What part of NB are you living in?

As for crafty-store chains there are a few Michaels in the province (Moncton and Saint John), and otherwise you may find what you are looking for at the local Singer store (some carry a pretty wide range of stock) or for material and all the things that go with it: Fabricville (http://www.fabricville.com/) (Moncton, Saint John, and Fredricton).  Otherwise there might be local stores in your area, they are usually hidden away, but if you ask around the community someone will know about them.

I hope this was helpful eventhough its a couple of months later.  Welcome to Canada!
