Title: Garden Car for Play
Post by: Drea4545 on May 02, 2008 10:03:53 AM
I had this idea for imaginative play areas in our yard for the kids to play in.  But also that fit in with the landscaping and were fun!  So, I bought some pressure treated plywood and some paints, ordered a playground steering wheel, and bought a switch at the home store.  With a little help from my husband and his jig saw, I created this VW bug in our garden for the kids to play with!
Front - screwed into our trees.  It doesn't look level in this pic, but it is.

Back(inside the car) - working steering wheel and switches.  Again, it is actually level.

Thanks for looking!  All questions and comments welcome!

Very clever!  It looks like a lot of fun AND has a ton of leg room!

Thanks!  It was a fun project  ;D.

Yes, it does say, "I ate a Ferrari".  My husband insisted on it  :D.
