Was that a normal lampshade frame or something made specifically for hanging dangly fronds from.?

how much light does it let out? it looks like quite a lot.
when i first saw it, i thought it looked like butterfly cakes :P

yeah. It lets out quite a lot of light. gives out a very warm and cozy shine..
I was going to join the challenge, but then I made another lamp and entered with that instead.
the frame is just some metal wire in two circles... I was going to use a bicyclewheel at first, but I didn't have the tools to deconstruct it right there and then (and I'm sure you all recognise that a good idea can't wait... for anything) :)

did you use a particular text?- it would be cool to make one out of facsimiles of your favourite book or something.. just had an awesome idea for the reading nook!- sweeeeet!

the circles are from the pages of a book I tore apart to make into a notebook. It had a nice cover, but I haven't read the book itself... don't think it was any good :)
yeah! it would be cool to use a special text next time... maybe a cookbook if I make one for the kitchen...

That is really super. Do you have any trouble with the heat from the light bulb singing the paper?
