Title: What is the name?
Post by: ninosgirl on April 06, 2008 06:33:35 AM
I found a recipe in Nigella Lawsons cookbook for Pomegranite No Churn Ice Cream. It is heaven. But really it is not ice cream at all. It is whipped whipping cream with confectioners sugar and fruit juice. A week later i had the TV on to another cooking show. They mentioned this type of dessert and gave it a name. They said that it is very popular in Europe. Of course i missed what they called it because i was washing dishes with the TV on. Does anyone know the name of this dessert? It is not Gelato.

Sherbet or Granita?  Both can be water based or dairy based.

I saw the rhubarb fool on Martha the other day too. She was with Seth Meyers from SNL! It looked really good.
