Title: Lifeline on KnitPicks Options?
Post by: Skellerz on February 22, 2008 07:48:17 PM
So, the key slot is big enough to get a lifeline through, which I've heard people raving about.
However...I tried it the other day, knitted my row, and the lifeline just...came out.

Am I missing something?
I must be...

I'd think you have to double the thread.

Or tie a knot... yes it will need something to keep it in the hole. The friction of your knitting pulls it out more strongly than the friction between the lifeline and the needle.

Thank you, that's not what I meant though (incidentally, I knotted it :]).
I'll knit my row, and the line will just pull out as I go along.
It stays on the needle, but not in the knitting...
I'm not sure I'm making any sense >.<

Once it is in a row or round remove it from the needle because the needle continues to move through the knitting over and over. You want to leave it in the knitting.

...Well don't I feel like a ditz?
:p

Thanks, redwitch, that's probably(definitely) my problem :)
