Title: My super easy great skirt!!
Post by: cataplum on November 05, 2007 01:41:24 AM

Hey! So, I was too bored to go to clases, and I had 3 balls of acrylic wool that surely someone had cursed and I couldnīt knit anything wearable...

Itīs just a circle basically, with some increases here and there!

Tell mme what you think!

(question to self) Why canīt I never follow patterns?... ???

Thanks you guys!! Woo, I really needed that!! I have a perfeccionist grandma, who never likes what I make! She couldnīt find anything wrong with this skirt, so she just didnīt say anything!

Itīs really easy, itīs just ch and sl st at the beginning to form a circle, and the dc in each dc, with some increases here and there, working from the waist down.

Thanks again, and please keep posting! I love it!!! :D :D

It looks great. There's a rule about if you can't see it from a prancing pony it's safe to leave a "mistake". Personally I think "imperfections" are what make things fun and unique.
the skirt is lovely. Hurray for using cursed yarn. I swear some yarn just has a bad attitude. :)

momcat I have a great reason for not going to class: I'm in Granada, in the south of Spain, it's sunny all day long and I'm finally living with my boyfriend who I haven't seen in almost a year (you can imagine what a relationship between a Greek and a Spanish is like...)

crochetgirl2 this is little village close to Malaga, Spain, called Ronda. The houses are built literary at the edge of a cliff (not the best vacation for someone with fear of heights!)

Hurray for using cursed yarn. I swear some yarn just has a bad attitude. :)

I totally believe that... Most of my yarns have a bad attitude... They just can't stick to the needles!
