I did this little embroidery this week. I didn't have a chance to scan it in until today, though. I don't yet know how I'll use it. It's a little day of the dead thing. Happy skeletons, yay!

That is absolutely adorable !! I love the little top hat and cane and the large round skulls make it even more lovable.

Love it!!! I chuckled in my cubicle when I saw this (thus, risking divulgin my non-work related slacking). Could you tell me which stitches you used for the different parts of the design?

The stitches I used are as follows:
skeleton and heart outlines: stem stitch
pelvises, leaves and noses: lazy daisy
flowers: french knots
green in bouquet: satin stitch
veil and smiles: back stitch
ribcages: blanket stitch
I worked three strands over the whole thing, but I think that I would use a single strand on the veil if I were to do it again. That metallic floss just doesn't play nice.
