Title: Amigurimi-ish little "outfits"
Post by: klynslis on April 15, 2007 08:43:15 AM
I made these yesterday as part of what I plan to be an assemblage piece on consumerism. They're kinda cute, though. LOL

Factoid: The average American purchased 48 items of clothing in 2001. -Worldwatch Institute

Only 44 more little clothing pieces to go.  ::)

Those are cute. Hmm and they would make cute magnets.

I love them.I agreed with Stars_Fire_17 they would make cute magnets. My favorite things to crochet are small items and they end up being fridgies.

Thanks, All!

The magnet thing is a really good idea... I have a six-paned window that I was going to mount them in (once they're all done) but I think that picking up a big sheet of metal from the salvage yard and using magnets to mount them will work like a charm and be sooo much easier than other methods of  mounting that I can think of.  ;D

If I bought that many clothes they'd be from goodwill to recycle for yarn. lol!
Great job and super cute!

It's not really clear in the picture - are these clothes 3D?  could barbie put them on (theoretically, if she were the right size)?  very cute anyhow!
