Title: Pawns and Queens: Chess with Stencils
Post by: shoot_to_ill on December 05, 2006 04:13:56 PM
I hate feeling like a pawn.  I'm not keen when it comes to being used by another person, therefore I made myself a shirt to express my annoyance of a situation going on at the moment.

This is the front.  The caption at the top says "I'm not your pawn..."

When I told a friend of mine that I wasn't their pawn, they were a bit confused.  As he began to walk away, he turned back around and said, "Well, you can be my queen."  Forget that.

I'm not his pawn...

"...And I don't want to be your queen, either."

It's one of my favorite shirts, now.
I got the shirt via Hobby Lobby.
I used printer ink.
I haven't set it yet.
I'm planning on heat setting it with the highest setting on an iron, then washing it in warm water with a bit of fabric softener.
Please, tell me what you think.
Questions and comments are welcome and greatly appreciated  :D

I love it.

It totally needs to be a cafepress.com shirt.

Sweet shirt. Doesn't actually appear to be a stencil, though.

It's a stencil.  I have used iron-ons before, but this one is a stencil.

Sponge it on...or, the easy way outta it, print your images "backwards" on a transparency sheet and just press it down on the cloth.  I've done that as well...
