Title: my finished Lady Eleanor
Post by: 615bride on November 10, 2006 06:13:50 PM
Drum roll.... here is the finished Lady Eleanor. I love her. She's hard to photograph with a flash and she's long but in real life she's beautiful and cozy. 65 inches long. Nine full balls of Noro Kureyon #124. Not quite as electric-colored as she might appear in these pictures but rich colors. Yay!

She's beautiful.  I like your color palette.  I started one, but have not had a chance to work on her lately.  One day I will finish her.

WOW.

This is such a rich, beautiful pattern, and I am so impressed with anyone who takes this on. Will you keep it or give it away? I don't think I could ever give something that lovely away... wear it proudly & often, and relish all of the times that someone comments on it and you tell them that you made it yourself. Ooh, the look of shock and awe on their faces!

Lovely work!

Thank you everyone!  :-*

Catpants- It took me about three months but that's not a fair judge because I moved across country during that time, got my DH started on his Ph.D and settled in to a new house with a toddler so that really cut into my knitting time!

I have wanted to try this for a while now and this is a great project!  Yours turned out perfect!  Great job!  Was this you first try at entrelac?

Yep, first ever try at entrelac. It didn't make sense at all when I read it but worked perfectly when I DID it. Trust the process  ;)
