Title: Pittsburgh Craft Fair, Handmade Arcade, November 13!!!
Post by: TuffJess on September 04, 2004 05:36:55 PM
How serendipitous that I log on to Craftster to post this message, and see the previous post about nothing going on here!

A group of us, known as the Cool Hand Crafts collective, is ready to change that!  We are organizing an event for November which will hopefully enjoy future incarnations as well.  The Handmade Arcade is going to take place just in time for the holiday season at Construction Junction in Point Breeze (near the East End Food Co-op).

We are looking now for crafters and zinesters to sell their wares!  Although the web site is still under construction, you may find downloadable application forms at http://www.handmadearcade.com

The cost to set up a table is very reasonable, and we are hoping to make the day action-packed, with music, demos, and other things going on throughout.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

This sounds really cool! It's a 2-hour drive though, hopefully I get a new car by then...

Title: Don't forget to sign up for the Handmade Arcade!
Post by: TuffJess on October 12, 2004 06:37:40 AM
Hi everyone!

Just wanted to remind you all that there's still about a week and a half to sign up for the Handmade Arcade!  This show is going to be a ton of fun -- we have gotten applications so far from lots of crafters from a few states!  But we still want to hear from YOU, too.  You have until October 23 to send in your stuff.

Just go to www.handmadearcade.com to download an application form.  If you have any questions, please just ask.  I will be happy to clear up any concerns you have!!

 ;D

Hello All! I am going to come and check it out... I wish I could sell things but I don't have enough time to make enough stuff to actually sell... School and work take up the majority of my time. I really look forward to checking it out and meeting people... If this is an annual thing I am thinking about selling stuff next year.

That's cool, I totally understand being strapped for time!  Sigh...  I think the show is going to be great!  We have about 40 vendors from 4 states lined up.  There is going to be a lot of entertainment and good times!  I think there is going to be a lot of bonding over crafts that day!  Hope to see all of you there.  If you want to help spread the word, you can go to our site and download printable flyers!

Hooray!  The day has finally come.   I'm so tired from my last minute crafting efforts.

Just a reminder to those in the Pittsburgh area: It will be noon - 9:00 pm @ Construction Junction (214 N. Lexington in Point Breeze).
