Title: Does anyone know of some good places in the Kootenays?
Post by: OrderlyConfused on August 31, 2006 08:41:52 PM
I found a lot of topics here for Vancouver/Victoria and such, but that's a 12h drive for me for deals lol and I've had such a hard time finding good deals in the Kootenays where I am

What kind of places are you looking for? Where in the Kootenays are you? I'm in Nelson.

Well I'm not sure of anything closer to Sparwood, but if you are ever in Nelson, the WINS second hand store on Front street often has lots of craft supplies, fabric and funky retro clothes.  The Sewing room downtown has fantastic fabric ( a bit pricey though) I found some great sushi fabric there to make my kitchen curtains out of.
