These are sooooo adorable  :)

Would you mind telling how you made the hats, please?

Sure... the hat is just a long rectangle to fit around the puff, allow about 1/4 in. for seam...sew up short end., gather the top. then a little rectangle running stitch up the center, the cut 1/8 slits, then gatther it & secure it with a knot. then you can either sew it on top or glue. the curly effect came quite by accident. i had cut the little rectangle with the stretchy part where the slits were gonna be. & when i attached one i accidently pulled the little strip & viola... it curled.  so i keep cutting them on that stretchy bias!!!! glad you liked them ladies. BTW i used the thick ones for the big ones & the small ones are 2 glued together. but i think i'm gonna but some white felt on the back of small ones b/c they are like silver one the back & then glue pin back on them for label pins. what do you think??? that way i get MORE snowmen too. i don't sell my crafts either. i just give them to friends , relatives, & act of kindness during season (like when i see a stressed cashier or waitress( i try to keep little things like these in my purse.LOL)    later... judy

What did you use to make the nose and the rosy cheeks?

Kristan.... i used an orange polymer clay i had baked for the noses. And the
cheeks are regular blush put on with a q-tip., hope this helps.    judy

What a wonderful idea...I am goning to do this too. You are a caring person....and these are really cute. I expect you could make the puff if you can't find cheap puffs anywhere.  :)

Just as an FYI - if you have a Dollar Tree near you, you can get a pack of 50-100 puffs for $1. :D  Pure luck, I stumbled across that yesterday, so I picked up 2 packs.. now take a guess what my co-workers are getting for Christmas!

I have been searching for these powder puffs forever, and can only find them in Walmart for likd1.27 each!! I don't like to shop in walmart, and my dollar tree doesn't have any at all...guess I won't be able to make these this year!

i think they are very cute and well made.

but i think i missed something.... what are they for? are they just decorative or are they a something else?? how do you attach them to something? how do you display them?

please excuse my ignorance.
