Details of swap:
See the original thread: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=99109.0;topicseen

The idea is to pair up people from different countries to craft whatever one might need for a foreign exchange program: the newest slang, trends, fashions, music, foods, best places to go/things to do, etc. all put together into crafty goodness (like journals, guide books, tees, totes, jewelery, and souvenirs). It's a crafty way to learn all about a new culture!

Your package must include one large crafted item, one or two small crafted items, and two small purchased items. Free stuff rocks, so throw in as much free stuff as you want! If anyone wants to do more than this, you can always communicate with your partner so that no one feels bad about their swapped items.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of the US (since that's the whole point!)?
What countries or parts of a country interest you most?
What colors do you like?
What colors do you dislike?
Is there anything specific you'd like to receive?
What wouldn't you like to receive?
Do you have any allergies?
What are your clothing sizes?
Anything else you want your partner to know?

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide (https://www.craftster.org/swapsinfo.html) to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

Sorry, but I need to wait until you have pos. feedback before I can approve you for the swap! You can send me your info, but I can't guarantee you'll get feedback in time to get approved! Did you PM the organizer and ask super sweetly?

Kool-aid: If you are newbie to Swaps, then you have to complete your first one and receive positive feedback before you can get going in a second Swap.  ;)

I was really excited about this swap (I even started planning what I was going to make), but I don't think my feedback from my first swap will be in on time. The upseting part is that I sent my package over a week ago, but my swap partner has been away the two times UPS has tried to deliver, so no positive feedback here  :'(

Chynadoll36 you could ask your swap organizer if she could update your feedback if your package has a tracking number,or post pics. Banga suggested it to me, I tried and it worked :D

So I am in Whoppie

Once sign ups end! They close on 7/21 so give me a day to match and post partners... We have a great group so far, with just enough other countries to match up w/ all of the Americans:)  Spread the word so we can have even more!

Alreadly tried that. She said that I can't get feedback until my partner recieves. But thatnks for the suggestion.

I delayed signing up because I've been racking my brains about things to make and not coming up with much. It's too hot here to have inspiration. I've still no ideas, but I'm signed up now anyway because I think it will be a great swap.
Hopefully my swap partner will have some ideas about the kinds of things they would like to save my frazzled brain having to think, or you guys will give me inspiration instead.

I love this idea, but I don't think I'll be signing up. I've got no income, and I don't think I have enough money to send a package overseas!

I'm having a problem thinking what small items I could make... My all ideas are medium sized and one of them is more time consuming so that could be the "large" item. I have understood that the "large" and the "small" can also mean the time and effort spent to the item, so for example the small item doesn't really have to be as small as jewelry etc.?

Nope! it could be something like a souvenir - magnets, keychains, a mini scrapbook, a change purse, buttons... Try checking out a OTT swap gallery for tiny ideas!

Thanks for the hint! I'll check the gallery right away :)
