So, I was thinking today, what should I Crafster Blog about? And the answer came crashing down on me, oddly, along with a pot of petunias (bonus point if you get that references). Whales! So I scoured Craftster for the finest whalecraft I could find (okay, fine, I used the handy-dandy search function) and here they are! Starting with this adorabel whale canvas by andralynn, which is deceptively large… check out the post to find out just how big!

On smaller (but no less adorable) whale art news, this kids room decor by Reel Crafty Girl shows the versatility and adorablity (is that a word?) of mixed media art.
And whales aren’t confined to canvases, oh no! In the Northern Hemisphere, temperatures are starting to turn, and it’s about time to start thinking towards cooler fall days. What better way to celebrate fall than with a cool whale quilt? This example by vkvhawk should be enough to make you want a whale quilt all of your own!
And once you’re all curled up in that comfy whale quilt, watching the leaves turn (I am sorry, Southern Hemisphere people, it’s very easy to get wrapped up in the seasons here, just pretend you’re reading this in six months?) what better time to work on some cross stitch? Maybe an amazingly detailed blackwork whale tail? Check out this example by Vicelikeplague and then tell me you don’t need one in your life?

Whale, that’s about it from me this week! Hope your week goes swimmingly!
