53609_01Oct14_043 AlwaysInMyRoom has decided to dive deep into her Japanese heritage. We are lucky that she is taking us along for the ride as she learns more about traditional Japanese arts and crafts. She created this easy to follow step-by-step tutorial for Shibori Dyeing. Each twist and turn of the fabric creates an intricate pattern that is rich in texture and design. From the classic shibori to a more contemporary pattern with blocks, each piece is a one of a kind work of art.

People think dyeing fabrics is difficult…it really isn’t! It is a bit time-consuming, but each piece turns out to be one-of-a-kind! I was amazed at how easy it was to find resources and supplies.

I love that I am able to share this fun new craft and the projects that I get to make using my unique fabrics!

    Thanks for sharing this!
