It’s Super Bowl time! This year, it’s the Atlanta Falcons vs. the New England Patriots. Whether you’re a super fan or a casual observer, it’s always fun to go to a Super Bowl party, hang out with your friends, and cheer for your favorite team. I’m happy to be routing for my home team, the Falcons, this year. What about you?

Even though this amigurumi football player was designed to represent an OSU Buckeye, he’s wearing Atlanta colors and #1 on his back, so for today, he’s a Falcon. I hope his creator, hooked on amicute, doesn’t mind!

In the interest of fairness, I present to you this Patriots rag quilt, sewn by karwash. If you’re a Patriots fan, you might like snuggling up in this quilt while you watch the game.
Let’s talk about some super food. TheFanatic shares his recipe for grilled Super Bowl poppers.  Each pepper was stuffed with cream cheese, layered with a little smokey, and wrapped in bacon before grilling. YUM!
Don’t forget sweets! redstar13 made some chocolate Rice Crispy treats in the shape of footballs, and piped icing laces on them. It’s the perfect gameday treat.
Keep your feet warm and comfy as you’re watching the game. Mistress Jennie crocheted these cozy slippers, which happen to be, in case you didn’t notice, Falcons colors. Perfect!

The Super Bowl will be played this Sunday. Enjoy, even if you’re just watching for the fun ads. And don’t forget to Rise Up, Falcons! Go dirty birds!

Lol! That’s hilarious, since I hail from New England and therefore am honor bound to cheer on the Patriots. But glad to be included in such a fun round up. 😀
