Sock It To Me!

Homemade socks. Nothing says love like hand-knit or crocheted socks. I don’t knit or crochet, so I especially love ’em. Here are some beautiful and creative socks I found on Craftster. (I believe I’m experiencing sock envy.) Luckily for me though, I have received a few lovely pairs of socks from generous swap partners.

How adorable are these owl slipper socks with their wide eyes and their bright little bellies? AugustBell crocheted them and two other pairs for her lucky swap partner.

Doctor Who fans are sure to love these Tardis socks, knit by mrsflibble.
Baigneuse, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore! Even Dorothy would love these striped socks with soft ruby slippers attached.
You know you’d have happy feet if you had a pair of these delightfully mismatched scrappy socks by LimeRiot. What a great way to use up small amounts of yarn leftover from other projects.
In winter time, nothing would be better for keeping warm than these gorgeous woolen knee highs, knit by minea. They look so cozy!

So yeah, go ahead and sock it to me! You’ll find pages and pages of delightful socks if you click “socks” on the Craftster tag cloud.

I wish I knew how to knit socks. Thank goodness I have awesome, generous Craftster friends who do!
