Spam. It’s become a part of life. It’s also become an inspiration some of my favorite stitchers.
Being a generous guy, he has given away some of his spam stitches, like this one that currently resides with Julie Jackson of Subversive Cross Stitch fame.
And this one, which is mine, ALL MINE! and is one of my prized possessions. 🙂
Carina Envoldsen-Harris aka wardi made this lovely spambroidery inspired by the subject line of a spam email she received. In an effort to understand it, she looked it up and found it is actually a line from this poem. Interesting use of literature. 🙂
Cauchy decided to take the spam that she and her friends had received and convert them into embroidery with the end goal of turning all of them into a quilt. Here’s some of my favorites so far:
There are more in this set – and it seems to keep growing every time I look. Wait, that sounded like one of those spam phrases. EVERYTHING seems to have a double meaning now!
