Looking for a different dessert to serve this holiday season? Why not try your hand at baking Semlor aka Swedish Cream Buns. While this delight is usually served before Lent; we can guarantee they will not be turned down any time of the year. A big thanks to Craftster member Avlan. She has translated her favorite recipe into English for those of us who are a bit rusty at our Swedish. This dessert is filled with yummy almond paste and fluffy whipped cream. It pairs well with a nice cup of tea or coffee. Swedish Cream Buns are labor intensive but so worth the work.
