A new table runner can give new life to your holiday table. With a little creativity and effort you can change your seasonal look for a small budget. Table runners can be sewn, embroidered, reconned, knit, crocheted, quilted, laminated, or anything else you can come up with! If you don’t want to make a runner, wax coated leaves or paper snowflakes, vintage doilies, or quilt patches can be arranged across the center of the table or placed at each place setting. Pretty handmade placemats or paper place cards can also make a big impact on a small budget. Look for remnants or inexpensive fat quarters for materials – they can be the perfect size to whip up a lovely runner or mats.
