Father's Day fish photo frame Father’s Day is a day for honoring fathers and forefathers. Did you know that the actual date of Father’s Day varies widely from country to country? For example, in the United States, the holiday is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. While in Nepal, it’s celebrated on the New Moon of September.

Whatever day your regional Father’s Day falls on, it’s surely a reason to craft in honor of your father. Whether you are creating a gift for him or a memorial to him, here are some ideas to inspire you.

There are countless ideas to craft for Dad, but wearables are always a creative, thoughtful and appreciated!

    One of my favourite memories is doing foot prints with paint when I was little. I must have been 3 or 4 because I was still in nursery school. Awesome fun!

    That’s so neat, jojomodjo! I’d like to do his prints once a year on little canvases of all colors and then display them together on the wall. I think it would be neat to see them grow sort of like a growth chart, but with colorful footprints.

    I love photo gifts. Dad will always keep the photo coffee mug, t-shirt or whatever has a great personalized photo of his favorite person, pet or thing. I found a nice site that offers cheap personalized gifts for dad if anyone is interested. http://www.dadgifts.biz/ Happy Father’s Day to all!
