Everything is just duckie!
 |
I just finished putting up my rubber duckie shelf (spoiler alert, it’s not big enough!) and am all over everything duck right now. I love ducks. And I might have to crochet myself this duck, because, while I don’t get the reference (I’ve never seen the show), the duck is brilliant! There’s a link to the pattern in the post, so thank you runciblespoon, for bringing this pattern to my attention. Or curses, you’ve added to my “want to crochet” list. Either way! |
 |
Now, I will admit, that even whole I do knit, I did give the looms a try (because I have to try allll the craft techniques!). I will say that I gave it up as I found it slower than knitting, but it’s great for anyone who feels like they just can’t get knitting. And why am I babbling about looms, you might ask? Because this duckie was loom-knit! I know, right? It’s not just scarves and hats! tattfae did an amazing job! |

If you read the story behind the next amazing duck creation, you may flinch at the horror of destroyed books. But tapestrymlp takes the inevitable destruction caused by a toddler and turns it into something amazing with this oh so cute canvas! A-duck-able! |

Even if you don’t have a destructive toddler, plavalaguna shows you can make a very cute duckie canvas from scratch using mixed media! Makes me want to clean off my art desk and get to work, though I doubt I could make anything quite as cute! |
