Everyone loves giving and receiving gifts, but no one is a fan of all the trash produced by gift paper and ribbons! Let’s think twice about how we wrap our presents; here are a few great ideas.

craftylittlemonkey made a set of reversible fabric gift bags that close with drawstrings. These bags can be customized for any age range or holiday with all sorts of fun fabrics.

Here’s a large fabric gift bag made with tea towels! ebygomm had some bargain towels hanging around and had the great idea to use them as her fabric source.
blossom1044 needed gift bags for birthday party favors, so she did what any good Craftster would do: she dipped into her stash and stitched up 30 (!) different bags with handles. Mom of the year, perhaps!
The little gift pouches that aspenwall made close with elastic. They’re perfect for tucking tiny treats in stockings or gift baskets.
Need a bow to make your gifts more festive? BeeJaay made this fun bow with strips of paper cut from magazine pages. She included a tutorial link in her post.

Happy gift giving! Just make sure you keep it clean; use your wrapping over and over.
