Challenge #24 – Craft Your Resolution

Share the love... Pin it Submit to reddit

The challenge for January was to craft something that helps you with any of your New Years resolutions.

We had 54 creative entries for this challenge (55 if you include Leah’s awesome project!). With a little twist, we ended up with four winners instead of one! The theme of this challenge was to make something that helps you achieve any of your goals in 2008.

Some great examples Leah gave were…

–How about a beautifully decorated inbox and outbox to help keep on top of the endless paperwork in life?

–Is your resolution to do more crafting? Make a calendar with your crafting goals that you want to achieve!

–Trying to stop smoking? Maybe a handmade punching bag?!

Here are our winners! 😀

Congrats to mixymo for getting the most votes for her astounding entry titled “Dress of Many Scraps.” Although it didn’t quite fit the theme of this particular challenge, it did get the most votes!

We also want to acknowledge the 2nd – 4th place winners and we’ll be sending them a special Craftster totebag as a prize!!

ammasmama was our second place winner with her entry titled “Introducing – My Kitchy Kitchen!” While this also didn’t quite fit the theme of the challenge, ammasmama did an amazing job revamping her kitchen! Everyone loved it so much they voted it in at 2nd place.

And now finally a couple of amazing entries that we feel followed the theme of the contest just as we had envisioned it!

Coming in at third place is eternallyeve‘s project titled “Year of the overhaul” hidden behind a sparrow.. Eternallyeve composed a list for her “2008 overhaul” and crafted this gorgeous wall organizer/calendar/inspiration piece to help her achieve it!!

Our fourth place winner was hearts and laserbeams with her entry titled “drink more water bracelet.” This little number helps you keep track of how many glasses of water you’re drinking in a day (how smart is that?!).
