Hippocampus, a half horse, half fish, creature from Greek mythology, created by Poseidon to pull his chariot.
This is a one of a kind sculpture, 100% handmade from scratch from polymer clay, and epoxy over a wire and foil armature. It is painted with acrylic paint, colored chalk, mica powder, and glitter. The eyes are Austrian crystal, the mane is dyed Tibetan lamb's wool, the fins are made of cellophane and wire. It has been coated in clear resin for a durable glossy finish. It is 6in long and 3 1/2in tall.
The eyes are very reflective and seem to glow in the right light
