I am a HUGE fan of you cover buttons (or as I call them - buttons to cover). I make them into push pins, magnets and lately flowers.
Making the buttons is really really easy. You can get the kits from all over the place - I get mine from J. Caroline Creative.
Once you have a few made you can use either felt flowers you make yourself from something like a sizzix or you can buy them already cut out (making memories has a bunch of really nice ones). I also use prima flowers and other nice paper flowers. Basically all you do is layer them together (using the buttons to cover as the centers).
If you try this with felt - make sure you get felt glue. That's the only way they will stay together. I use zots or puffy sticky squares (I have no idea what they are really called).. that helps get the buttons to cover stuck to the paper flowers.
