I made this dress when my friend's mum gave me a huge bag of old clothes. As soon as I saw the two huge white skirts, I knew I had to make a wedding dress. The problem was, what for? (not that we need a reason, but I do need a motivation!) Luckily I was invited to a birthday party with a spooky sort of theme, and thus death bride was envisioned and created.

Unfortunately, well actually it's a good thing, but I've just moved to the Netherlands for a year so my full-dress photos are back in Australia. But you can see the top of the dress, and my lovely makeup. The mankiness on my neck is a bruise made from watercolour pencils. Me and my friend, who was also a death bride, made a two ended noose from instructions on the internet and the idea was that we had hung ourselves rather than get married. It was funny when we arrived though, because absolutely everyone else was dressed in black...
Hmm... we really need a board just for costumes....
Edit: Hopefully you can see the pic now, but unfortunately it's quite a small one...

Sorry  Undecided And the dress is in Australia too... But basically the skirt had 4 or 5 panels, and godets at the bottom... and it was just above my ankles because I ran out of fabric!
