Yay I made my 2nd skirt and I'm extremely proud of myself Smiley

I used this site http://www.geocities.com/kraftylala44/Easy_A-line_Skirt.html to help me make an a-line pattern.  I ended up making the skirt less a-line, more straight though because it's rather short.

I love piping Smiley  And I'm getting pretty good at inserting it after using it on 5 pillows and this skirt.  I found the rad heart buttons at Joanns.  I'm a button noob though and they keep falling off.

I don't really like the fabric, it hurts my eyes!  But it's I had it left over from my last project and I think it works well with the skirt.

I made butt darts!

And then I made a matching headband:

it looks great! (the fabric is a bit sick-making, but i think it works okay in small quantities.) and the matching headband is very nice. great job!

Nycole- for the headband I just cut out two strips of fabric which were wider in the middle and narrower close to the ears.  I sewed them together and sewed a strip of elastic to connect the ends of the strips so it would be stretchy.

Thanks everyone  Grin
