Hey, I need some ideas on what to do with this wooden box that was formerly for tea (black currant tea actually). It's tall and narrow and has the sliding open top thing.  Thank you.

Sand off any lettering, or remove labels, paint or stain it, and glue some of those miniature buttons (themed), add some rub on lettering/ and or images, coat with a spray varnish and fill with goodies to give as a gift, or sell em like I do...

I have a couple of these Smiley Some of them have really lovely graphics, but some are less nice. That's a fantastic idea, hadn't even thought about what I could do with them after I finish all the tea.

I used one as a gift set for new tea. I filled it with a variety of tea bags and kept the graphics as they were.  Cute present!

I just slide off the cover and use the box as a pencil holder.  I have some others that open along a long edge, so I use them to hold business cards and sticky pads.

I guess if I was a true craftster I would have painted, covered, burned, drilled, glued, or done something to them.  But I like them just as they are.

After this conversation, maybe I'll hot glue the three together to make one desk organizer.

I painted it and decoupaged pin-up girls on it. My boyfriend likes it.
