Hi all, I haven't posted in ages this is the first bit of embroidery I done for a while.  It is a contribution for a gift box to be sent to popular TV show here in the UK . The shows presenter loves animals  & has a small farm that includes goats, I love goats loads too they always look like they are smiling and very happy with their lot. This was taken from a photo of a lovely goat I met last year. It was inspired by Badbirds work, it not as good as her fabulous embroidery I not so good with the details. Thanks for looking  Grin

What a cute pillow!  One of my goals is to get some mini goats, I totally agree that goats are great.

Mixi, to transfer the image I printed off the goat picture, and traced the image onto inkfilm (for overhead projectors) with an permanent ink pen, scanned the line drawing, printed it off in a light gray colour then drew over the image with a iron on transfer pencil, then ironed it onto my fabric. I hope this makes sense  Huh

Goats ROCK !!!!!!!

Okay that is just the cutest thing ever!  So fresh and farmsy and folksy, and you have to love goats.  I had a cousin that grew up on a farm with the sweetest little nanny goat.  She would come to their backdoor and knock on the screen to let them know it was time to milk her.

I love the goat!!! You can do something that I can't and that is embroider on top of fabric that has a pattern. It's like to much for my brain to try to control.  I Like the whole layout including the floral white trim.  I hope wish you will do more, and post tons. Cheesy
