My first project was a stockinette scarf. Yup, it curled. Yup, I tried to iron it, but not much, so it didn't melt. One end was much smaller than the other. The beginning end (the smaller one) has a few holes, though the rest was pretty uniform. It was red and black blocky stripes, and I gave it to my then boyfriend. Maybe I can get him to take a pic. I still talk to him.
