I love love love that. I can crochet but I've never done anything with the afghan stitch and definatly not a double one. So I've been trying to find the double sided afghan stich for the last half hour but can't seem to locate a tute of sorts on the net. Can anyone help me out??

I once came across a site called joyful fibre arts for bellydancers. It had very nice jewellery that anyone would like to make and wear.

I'm actually knitting a choli >_> But I crocheted a belt from seeing a picture once, I just wanted to try it out, so it's not very good. But I should take a  picture and show you!

And I thought I was the only person that crocheted bellydancing things. Cheesy

I clicked into this post thinking "so, it's a belt or 2?"  imagining a single chain of eyelash tied in a knot with a bell added.....I'm SO glad that i was wrong!  This is amazing!  Over jeans, a fitted dress, whenever, wherever.  To heck with just belly dancing in it, i'd say!

Hehehehe....... Yeah... I'm trying to figure out new and innovative styles for Tribal Fusion. I just hate being a clone of all the other dancers.... I figured crocheting is the only thing I'm good at so I might as well give it a try. =)

Hey, If you're a good crocheter(I can crochet like a mad woman but have never followed a pattern), I've had this pattern http://www.weirdmirror.org/patterns/spider.htm on my backburner for that future time when I have tons of yarn and tons of time to make a dancing skirt.  You're welcome to try it out!  Just looking at it makes me want to spin!

Beautiful! I am working on flamenco-style hip wraps, myself..... I'm not into adding coins yet,so tassels, mesh and ribbons are really great ideas for add-ons. Other stuff you could try is crochet skull caps or fancy armlets!
