Too cool. And great apartment. I can't imagine what even 800 sq ft costs in NYC.

Love it.

I totally saw this episode and thought, "Man I would love to have a very bright and perky apartment like that."  Very cute, I love your style.

Oh I've only just come across this post. I am loving your apartment. I know it will be a big hit with my niece too so I'm sending her the link. She is desperate to get her own apartment so that she can decorate it in a similar style, she just can't get the same effect in a dorm room!

I just realized I bought your Princess Crafts book for my youngest niece. She loved it, especially the Rapunzel hair. I loved your humorous writing style too.

tivaclare and BeeSting, thanks-a-bunch!  Yes, please don't remind me of what rent is in my neighborhood.  Yikes!!!

TeriH, I'm so happy your niece liked my book and that you like the writing style!  Yay!  My favorite craft happens to be the Rapunzel Wigs too.

I just entered my apartment in the Apartment Therapy "I've Got Color" Contest:

I knew there would be some backlash since I already got exposure on HGTV and in AnAn magazine but it's been really fun reading what people love AND hate about my place.

If you have a chance, check it out and vote for your favorite entries!

So, I started trying to translate your article for you (call it studying for my Japanese exam?  Haha), but the resolution isn't high enough for me to read some of the kanji.  If you'd like a translation, I can attempt to do it for you... it was kind of fun until I ran into too many fuzzy kanji.  The title was easy, though: "Pink and Green Dorm House: Bold color-coding is a surprising effect"

Anyway, very cool room, but I'm more interested in translating the text, because I'm a Japanese major like that.  Tongue

Thanks for the offer to translate Supersandra!  I may take you up on that at some point!  And sorry, it's taken me so long to reply.  October, November and December were all equally crazy, to say the least!  A bit more pink and green news, here is a holiday decorating article from the San Francisco Chronicle, I was included in this month:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2006/12/06/HOG5RMON4T1.DTL

Maybe some of the ideas will come in handy next year!  My last name is used in the article, so when you read, "Elizabeth Hauser," that's me.

XOXO,
Elizabeth Ingrid
