So I purchased a used Singer 6212C from someone on Craigslist this weekend.  Naturally it didn't come with a manual or a bobbin.  How can I go about buying one.  This model isn't even listed on Singer's site, yet 6212 is listed.  Should I assume this is the same model as far as manual is concerned.

For the bobbin, should I just bring the bobbin case with me, and see which bobbin fits in it, and hope to buy locally?

How does one go about finding a dealer or someone to repair?  It's a dang shame I'm in the heart of NYC garment district, yet I feel so overwhelmed when it comes to this.  I don't even know where to shop for patterns.
