I saw this mentiond in another thread but I was unable to reply to it for some reason. Anyway, not my original idea but a good one anyway, a Crafty Grab bag swap. How would we do it?  We could put a price range on it say...each person mails out between 8 and 10 dollars worth of goodies to the next person or something, so people all get around the same amount of stuff. Does anyone like this idea?

great idea! i would say we should do one with handcrafted stuff, but little things. I would also decorate the heck out of the "bag," or we could make a small purse and fill it with 5-6 other cool things... keep me posted!

This would be really cool.  A price range would be cool if everyone aggreed to it.  A lot of times I use recycled items around the house (coffee cans, fridge magnets, etc...) and those are difficult to put a price on them.  In a supplies swap we did once we gave a approximate size of the box or "bag" that we had to fill with stuff.  I would love to see the details and such posted.  It sounds like LOTS of fun!

Depending on how long before this gets started, I would be interested.

ok so far so good...I guess I can try to organize this, but its my first attempt at it so please bear with me while I figure out the details...I need to go read the swap organizer stuff right now. Lets keep this first one smallish and then if all goes well, we can have another larger one. Lets say, a 10 person maximum for this one. It looks like we have 5 interested so far. Ok ok ok this will be fun, Ill go read the important dealies, and figger out whos not allowed to swap and all that jazz, and then Ill be back with more details.

sounds interesting!
just a thought though, maybe set a size, or an approximate number of items because if you work out cost.....ooooh have fun currency converting!
(Sorry, had to put in my 2 cents...(australian)...so about 1.5 cents (american)?)

Oh Convert?? what is this convert you speak of? LOL j/k. I think this is going to be a USA only swap unless we get people who dont mind shipping overseas? We'll know for sure in a little while here, Ive PMed the craftster goddess about getting started and am just awaiting a reply.
