birth control cases

so my birth control comes in these little pink plastic boxes, and i'm thinking....there has to be a good use for these. problem is, i haven't found one.  they're pretty shallow, and then there are the holes where the pills pop out, but they seem like they should be good for something.  the best i could think of was business card holders. 

any ideas?

maybe post a picture? it might be easier to think of things. from the picture in my head i am thinking maybe you can glue a mirror inside it?

Yeah, a photo of what the case looks like would help..
I know when I used to take those..mine came in those odd little sort of roundish cases..
but I know there are lots of other shapes in the cases nowadays..

With all those little holes one could try weaving some pretty ribbons or threads through them and still use them for holding stuff.

Maybe you could cover the holes with little beads or jewels, and if there is a flat space inside of where the holes are, glue a mirror?

you could put a mirror on the inside on the container and design the outside of it to make a cute compact.

i work at a pharmacy and im always so tempted to steal the various selection or little cute boxes hehe. but with the ones i do have at home i glued a mirror to one and some paper one the side with the holes . and with another box i decoupaged the outside and cut up paper to fit into the box to make it a little note card carrier. idk what else to do but hope this helps. i was thinking maybe decoupage the outside and make them into cool magnets.

i finally thought of a good idea for those little cases......a needle case!!!  i glued a magnet to the bottom to store all of my needles, and then decorated the rest.  i think i'm going to make a few more, one for sewing, one for leather needles, one for beading needles...etc. 


i love re using stuff.  basically i love cheap projects....







it seems to work really well, and now my needles are organized and portable!  let me know what you guys think.

this is great!  i buy generics so they're an ugly cream color, but i can paint them and fix them up real nice, too.  thanks for the ideas!
