I've been thinking for a while about making some of these for In case of an emergency(I'm the only woman in the house that gets her period, so I don't have someone checking on pad supplies.), but my question is this; how do they not shift and bunch? This is my only concern, really. Bulkiness isn't so much of a problem, as i never wear thin pants or the like, and if i do, i can tie my sweater around my waist and it hides the back of it.(I'd make the front come up to my mons, as when i stand that's where i leak, so only the back would show due to an already sagging belly at 19 :/.)

My second worry is the fabric wings wicking the blood into them, and subsequently, on my pants, do you have any problems with such?

im 15, still havent gotten my period (mybe im broken? who knows!), and with all these horror stories im almost afraid to get it!

Probably not broken, but if it hasn't shown up by 16, might want to talk to your doctor about your hormones and stuff.

But great tutorial!  I will likely go for a different shape for my different needs, but yeah, a shamwow or whatever as a core would be a great idea.  Awesome!
