First of all, I am so impressed and inspired by all the bags people have made for this swap. If anyone ever needed a reason to learn to sew, they'd only have to look at this thread.

Island-princess sent me this absolutely gorgeous brown tote bag with bamboo handles!

The great velcro pocket (I love the look of the fabrics being swapped; you know, the dominant fabric on the outside becomes the accenting one on the inside):

I'm experiencing a little bit of (first!) swap anxiety since her work is so sophisticated and professional and mine is so... not, but I know I'm not alone in that feeling. And this bag is more than able to make me feel better.  Thank you so so so much to island-princess for being a great swap partner and to redheadmenace for pulling off this whole thing. I can't wait to see the rest of the bags you all made!

All I can say is WOW!  The messenger bag that SugarDuckie made for me is outstanding!  The pictures that I took do not do it justice...I wish all of you could feel the bag...the craftsmanship or craftswomanship rather is amazing.  The goodies inside are fantastic too...a little snake key fob, a cool roll up bag for my paintbrushes and a tin of ginger Altoids to ensure fresh breath.  Thanks so much!

Day - that is a really nice messenger.  Is the bag gray or brown?  My colors may be off, but it's hard for me to tell.  It looks very well done.

The bag is olive drab with a tan stripe...the paintbrush roll is gray tweed and the little snakey is brown.
