Okay, lilearthcreature must be busy right now, so I'm going to post pics of the bag I sent her.  I honestly can only tell you that I put a dream dictionary in it and gum and I don't remember the rest!!LOL
Here's the bag:

My daughter modeling the bag (she's almost 5' so you get the idea):

The inside material:

When Mara said she would like a Monster Bag, I was a little put off, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  It turned out quite well and I got lots of compliments before I sent it!  She says she likes it a lot too.

woah, the last two are great. Monster-y goodness.
I'm feeling a little anxiety now....I can't sew to save my life, so I had to decorate a bag, did anyone else decorate one instead of sew?
I hope I can live up to the standard so far  Tongue

I think a decorated bag would be great!  I would have a hard time doing that myself, so I think it's awfully nice.  Don't worry!

Thanks for the kind words, ladies.  I love learning something new!   My daughter wants me to make one for her friend for her birthday now.   Roll Eyes

I'm not worried per say...I've painted on dozens of surfaces, but this was my first bag. And it was a person I haven't painted before....but enough about that, I don't want to spoil it  Wink

I can't get over the furry monster bag...it just takes me back to the Sesame Street days and stuffed animals. Its too cute!
