I'm going to be spending about a week in Orlando (I live in South Carolina) with the boy's family at the end of this month. Are there any craft/thrift stops I should check out while I'm down there?

Hola, my wife and I live in Winter Park a suburb of Orlando. We also have a national directory of thrift shops for you to use. The Orlando listings are as complete as it gets. Our directory has the name, address, phone number, and the stores shopping hours as well as a map link.
You'll want to hit two of the HUGE Community Thrifts, one on Orange Ave. and the other on Edgwater.
From your photogarphy I believe you'll be wanting to spend your evenings at either Independent Bar (http://www.independentbar.net/ I worked here for 8 years, it's the neetest place in this town) or Bar-B-Q-Bar.
Our website is...  http://www.thethriftshopper.com

Please let me know if you can add any more stores to our directory on SC.
If you have ANY questions on stuff to do here, please don't hesitate to ask.

I love that website!  I live in Winter Park, too.  This side of Orlando is a goldmine for thrift stores.

Thanks imfrrreal.
There's a new little thrift shop off of Michigan you might want to check out.
Russell Home for Atypical Children Charity Thrift Store
1480 E. Michigan St.
Orlando, FL 32806

It's a small shop, but new to Orblando anyhow, enjoy!
