I have always admired those craftsters who make clothing for children as its always so cute!!
I don't have any children of my own, but have lots of children in my life so a few weeks ago I thought I would give it ago. So far I have only attempted girls clothes. They seem a little easier
I started off by making this fun little reversible dress (again with a PDF from Etsy). The fabrics were so cute, brown with buttons on and orange and white polka dots. I made this for my 5yr old niece and it was a little big, but I think that for this style that's okay. She loved it and I think she looked adorable

Then I tried this milkmaid dress (using a PDF pattern I bought on Etsy)

I made the 3T size for my 2-5yr old niece but it was miles to big, lol. So it currently has no owner but it was fun to make.
I then tried some little summer tops (yip, pattern from Etsy). They were quite easy to make but I hadn't figured out button holes yet. I followed the pattern exactly on this one.

The second one I made I added little frills to the shoulders which I think looked a little nicer.

These are for my 1yr old niece but she hasn't tried them on yet so I don't know how they fit. I think they will be okay sizing them to her other clothes.
So that's it, those were my first try's and I think I am hooked!!! What do you think?
