I suspect inks in different colors would work, too.
Like inks for refilling stamp pads etc.

First post here ever! Yay! Love all the stuff I've seen so far. Everyone's so creative.

Just had to show you all what I was able to come up with... VERY fun project. At first I thought my beautiful desidns were ruined, when I lifted the paper off of the shaving cream and everything just looked smeared. But the design was underneath, and I was so excited when I wiped off all the stuff after 10 muinutes. Smiley Did three of them, but the third one won't scan correctly. Keeps showing up on my computer as black and white. I gave up. Oh well.

My brother pointed out that there's a rose hidden in the one above... Can you find it? Smiley

Hope they show up.. Smiley

xoxo

I can vaguely remember doing all sorts of fun stuff with shaving cream in preschool. Like squirting it all over the table and playing with it. But this is actually productive. I have to try it!

Just curious as to how many cards you guys are getting out of one pan of cream?  I made some blue and red ones and they turned out pretty dark but cool still.  I'm going to try a few other colors and see what happens.

I usually get two or three cards from one thing of shaving cream. Well, since I'm so perfection-oriented, I usually only like the first one. I've found that the results are best the first time, and they fade and swirl together more the second and third time around. But since I don't want to be wasteful, I usually try and get as many as I can. Oh, and I use a plate, now, instead of the baking pan. My mom came home with these horrendus plates that she got for like, a dollar or something. They are SO ugly that I try to break them every once in a while. Actually... I gave up trying to break them because when I was emptying the dishwasher I noticed that they said "unbreakable" on the bottom and I realized all of my attempts at throwing them on the ground were a waste of time. But wow... that's NOT what I was going to say. I was just going to say that I use those hideous plates for shaving cream cards now. Okay, I'm done.  Grin
