With out a stunning centrepiece for her Table?
Esp in those extra special times of need when you cant afford real fruit, and after all whats fruit with out a bit of sparkle?

items of choice - pasta, pom poms and pipe cleaners (sparkly ones!)
My basket - made of woven macaroni with the half circles for decoration all spray painted gold. It has a cork bottom and the side supports - after much trial of different materials are skewers
Fruit - sequins pins Styrofoam shapes - with simple shaping (and a very sore thumb and numb bum) and pipe cleaners (apple orange and pear)
pom poms and pipecleaners and strawberry's with felt ( grapes, strawberry's, Cherry's)
and just pipe cleaners for the banana

easter grass (was to be original banana) was used to add some height to the fruit in the basket

gorgeous basket of fruit there! I'm really impressed! That basket definitely does not look like it was made from pasta. And the fruits are awesome. The whole thing just shines with beauty.

Wow. And the furthest I ever got with pasta was stringing it onto some string for a necklace in kindergarten.

aww shucks thanks guys- Cheesy
The basket - once I worked it out how to hold its bloomin shape and all the basics was really easy and fun - Im considering a handbag in pasta next. I really had to consider painting it gold or not - because in its natural state - it looks suprisingly like a real basket. I was really shocked how this worked out.

Cheesy The fruit - I was sitting here cursing the fruit - my poor thumbs will never ever be the same. If I ever decide it needs to be done again (the fruit only the basket was mucho fun!) - some one shoot me, please.
