I'm a high school Spanish teacher and need to have gifts for several of my seniors who are graduating and going off to college. I decided to buy some pillowcases and embroider them to say 'Dreaming in Spanish'. I used the 'Stitch it Kit' for the banner and the letters. The designs are common Mexican motifs found on ruins and art from ancient Mexico. I just drew the motifs as best as I could and then transferred them on the pillows.

Those looks great, and may I say, you are the nicest teacher ever to do that for your students!

Thanks!  I received a hand made gift from a teacher at my grad party and it really meant a lot, so I wanted to make my students something special as well. I'll be making some more and posting them--and I think I'm going to try embroidering some socks as well.
