hey,
well this skirt was inspired by one of the many circle skirt tutorials on this site, but instead of making it a circle, I kept it as a square, hence asymmetrical. It has one layer of stripey material, then bright blue chiffon underneath and skull and crossbones applique on the corner.

I have a question: does anybody know where I could get cheap pirate badges/patches for this skirt? I live in York in England.

Please let me know what you think of the skirt.

As a fellow Yorkie (Howdy!) I'd recommend having a root around in Boyes on Goodramgate. Classix also might be a good place to check, they have a lot of patches and are more likely to have Pirates than Boyes is. Any of the other Punky/Greeboey/Gothy shops are worth checking out for patches.
