Wow, I didn't realize there were so many crafters in the Austin-San Antonio corridor.  I'm originally from Austin (Cedar Park to be exact), but I'm living in San Marcos now for school.

Well, SanAntonioLauri and I got together last week. We had a lot of fun. We're going to Michael's at NW Military for knitting class at 3 on Sunday. Y'all are welcome to come!

Its a knit and crochet class where you can work on whatever you want. There are beginners to advanced working together. We have a lot of fun. Its $10 for a 2 hour class and supplies are 10% off when you sign up. I got a bunch of yarn last week for $15.

My friend in literature class would sew during class, might be the same person.  Sadly I haven't got past the basic square without massive amounts of holes (I have holy squares Grin).
