Gee...those are fantastic. I saw something similar on knitty.com and admire the spirals...would be cool to make a bag like that!

it is the knitty pattern, so that would be why they look familiar. i'm not sure how you'd manage to keep the spiral without the stuffing to fill it up, but that would be cool if you could manage it.

i would love to try and figure out the stitch pattern for that pillow, is there any way we could request a picture of the pillow itself? Wink

i am a knit addict i know, but that pillow would look wonderful on my bed with my new blue and white knitted blanket, lol, that isn't finished yet.

i live to please!
i didn't knit this, but bought it, so i have no idea what the stitch pattern is, but here are some pictures:

the stitch pattern close-up:

the whole thing is about 18" wide, with two buttons. to me, it looks like an offset seed stitch, but you are all welcome to have at it.

Hey, if anybody does figure out a pattern for that pillow, i would love it if you posted it.  Grin

And the nauties look fab. The more I see them finished, the more I know that I will have to make this sometime soon.

The pillow is divine! It makes me feel all jazzy! Did you just make it up as you went along? That's some major skills right there! Beautiful!

Awesome job on those nauties. I bought DPNs just to make a nautie. I can't figure them out for the life of me so I am going to try to write a crochet pattern for them. Hehehee.

your nauties are SO COOL! i love the button idea for their eyes! and personally i think that they look creepier WITH the tentacles!

i couldnt figure out the i-cord part and how it opened up fpr stuffing so im knitting mine from the top down... so his face and everything is done but now im working on his tail (im making the long one not the coiled one) i think im going to rip the embroidery i did for their eyes and use some cool buttons instead!

If you walk into someone's living room and there's a rinocerous in there, act like it doesn't excite you. Just yawn, and ask for some rice pilaf or beans to munch on.
