You might as well, I think. When Crow Jane and I have received our Hobbit swaps, I'm hoping our posts will give people more ideas, and the FotR swap certainly wouldn't start before then, right? My package should get to Crow Jane sometime next week, according to my mom. Anyway, yeah!

H'OK, So, I received the most fabulous package from Crow Jane!

1. Throw pillow with "The Hobbit" in runes and an absoultely perfectly-cut Smaug...This will be perfect for use in my new apartment!
2. My very own Smaug! He's *sparkly* and soft and extremely well-made and I just love him!

3. "Thror's Map"- properly aged and everything! I think I may have to frame this for my wall because I just think it's the coolest thing ever. It came rolled up with a fun "Smaug's lair" maze puzzle, which I'm going to have tons of fun figuring out.

4. Elf-ears. Yes, I love the elves, and now I can be one. I burst out laughing when I pulled them out and realized what they were, and immediately put them on. Whee!

5. Green and silver leaf-beads- just like you'd find in Rivendell! I'm going to have a blast with these, I've got so many ideas for them!

6. Pipe-cleaner and puff-ball spiders and spider web. They spiders even have tiny googly-eyes. I haven't decided what to do with it yet but it's just so fun!

7. Leaf-shaped cat-toy, complete with bell inside. I'm not sure my kitty Arwen has figured out what to do with it yet, but she's an odd one...I'm sure I'll hear her playing with it when no one is looking.

Thank you so much Crow Jane!! I love everything! I just hope you like my package as much as I love this one! You rock!

Okay...what are you doing with my Kit Kats..I swear they look just like mine. Miine are named..   Meshak,  shadrak and Abe(short for Abedniigo)....the three Hebrew Cats...you know, from the Bible.... Grin

I love the elf ears and the map...what fun you are going to have with all that.

Group Shot (knitting bag with a surprise, mithril chain-mail belt, mini journal, t-shirt & a nice little note)

My awesome t-shirt which says on the front "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit" which is the first sentence of the book and has a picture of the entrance of Bag End. On the back it says:

Far over the Misty Mountains cold
To dungeons deep and taverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale encahnted gold.

My mithril chain-mail belt studded with pearls (just like Bilbo's!)

My very own mini travelling journal (which I am about to take to a 2 day music festival at which we are camping, Splendour in The Grass)

Knitting bag with some of Bilbo's and Gollum's riddles. It is perfect.

The One Ring was hidden in a pocket of the bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so very much firebird1919. I adore it all. It is precious to me.
