Most of the time they are posted on the Misc board, for lack of a better place.

There is a huge craft along thread happening right now...its up to about 35 pages, I think. And I think its
because its really the only place that is remotely dedicated to talking about them...

I'll have to see if I can drum up some business.

If a board isn't made, it would be a good idea to figure out where exactly they should go...  It's hard though. Shrines in a house, obviously, could go under the home board... Altoid size shrines.. trinkets? It's all so vague.

Which is why they need their own child board. Maybe in "More art than craft" ?

I think a Shrine Board is a great idea, and you're just the one to make it happen, amaryllisroze...you r shrines are magnificent!

I also think there should be a board of some kind dedicated solely to shrines. There's definitely enough people on craftster who make shrines, or even are interested in them, to warrent its own board.

I think even just a child board would be appropriate, either under misc. completed projects or more art less craft. Then at least everything would be all together for easy reference...

I honestly don't have a preference as to where it would go. I just think it would be nice to have an easy place to post questions & ideas, really.

The shrine-a-long thread is a really good example of it. It would be so much easier to have an organized spot to look for tips & techniques instead of having to weed thru the almost 40 posts in that thread. There is a lot of good information there that I think is being lost.

I think a child board would be perfectly acceptable...actual ly, it would rock completely and would be perfect, in my opinion.

yeah!! shrine board please!

could i post fairy doors there too? my friend and i are going to start making them and randomly affixing them to buildings downtown, i can't WAIT!!! shrines would be fun to stick here and there in unexpected places in town too. ha ha, i love public art! maybe it could be a small vignette thread, shadowboxes and 'world in a box' pieces as well? seems to all be along the same lines to me....

Of course you could! There just seems to be a void to put stuff like this. It usually gets shuffled off to the Misc board and buried quickly. I would love to see all of the above and I think it all fits together nicely.

Leah knows about this thread. Unfortunately, right now, there isn't a huge interest with the members.  It takes a lot of time and $$$ to create new child boards and sub boards, so unless the demand is huge, it probably won't happen.  Thats not to say its a no, just please be patient and understand the dilemma.
